MAJOR PROJECTS
NOTE: Primary designer and instantiator on all projects listed
1) Migrate Datacenters and Move to Cloud
Migrated production environment from one physical datacenter to a new facility and from local physical equipment to cloud solutions. Involved over 800TiB of both SAN and NAS storage. Minimal downtime and maximum reliability were primary goals. All expectations were exceeded.
2) Upgrade all Hardware in Multiple Datacenters
Upgraded all storage hardware in the client environment. Scope included all storage arrays, storage virtualizers, storage network directors and all fiber and power cabling. All actions were performed live with zero client impact/outage.
3) Migrate Datacenter Across Town
Moved state health agency datacenter across town with zero downtime. Created processes to streamline all facets of project from rack removal/transport, cable management, power management and personnel schedules. Accomplished project in half the time allocated.
4) Migrate Datacenter Across Town
Moved entire semiconductor design sector datacenter to a new facility across town. This required coordination between multiple departments and facility coordinators. All end of life devices were upgraded as part of the move allowing multiple goals to be achieved in one project. Entire project was performed in a single weekend with 100% success.
